Daniel Moricz

Daniel Moricz is a member of the Board of Directors at HOLD Asset Management, and has been a Partner since 2007. In the same year he was also appointed lead manager of Concorde Columbus Absolute Return Fund, prior to that he was a fixed income portfolio manager, and he still retains oversight of two bond portfolios. He started with HOLD (former Concorde) as an analyst in 2000.  Between 2006 and 2008 Daniel also fulfilled the role of Chairman of the Ethical Committee at BAMOSZ, the industry body association of Hungarian Asset Managers. He is a visiting lecturer at numerous universities and financial training centers and has published extensively in the financial press in Hungary. He holds a master’s degree from Budapest University of Economic Sciences and Public Administration and a Ph.D. degree in Economics from Corvinus University, Budapest. His main areas of professional interests are asset bubbles, their causes, symptoms and consequences) and government intervention as well as corporate defined benefit pension plans.

Tamas Cser

Tamas Cser is a Partner of HOLD Asset Management. Since 2007 he has been the co-manager of Concorde Columbus Absolute Return Fund alongside Daniel Moricz. Prior to that he was an equity portfolio manager, initially starting with HOLD as an investment analyst in 2004. Tamas holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Corvinus University, Budapest and has been a visiting lecturer at his alma mater for the past four years. His professional interest is value based investment.
